I travelled to Barbados in the Spring of 2004 with a group of lawyers from my office. They generously put up with me and my camera. The pictures presented on these links show the picturesque beaches and local sea turtles. |

According to the Barbados tourist office, Barbados is home to a "healthy" population of hawksbill and leatherback turtles. These great creatures are protected and monitored throughout the Island. The turtles I saw are located quite close to shore and local tour operators organize daily snorkelling trips. From my point of view swimming with the turtles is a "must do". |
